This Faculty is one of the youngest faculties in the Institute: it was opened in 2003. All these years the faculty grew rapidly and became one of the leading companies in the country in preparation skilled managers and marketers. There is consistently high competition among the applicants wishing to become managers in hospitality and tourist business, marketing specialists, experts on quality of management, entrepreneurs on this Faculty. Specialists in these areas are very popular in job markets now, that’s why graduates of the Faculty always find highly paid and interesting job. And many of them start working while they are still students. Staff of the Department supports the work of students and organize their practice on the best enterprises in Kazan and Tatarstan, as well as abroad. Our students have already visited Turkey, China and USA.

Training of future specialists in the Department is conducted by qualified instructors who annually publish monographs, academic papers, books on the most interesting problems of management and marketing, and their work has practical application. In research activities scientists and postgraduate students are involved, many of which are already showing a creative, unconventional approach to studying a particular problem.

Wherever our institution is presented - at conferences, competitions, creative, intellectual or athletic contests and competitions – among the leaders we can hear names of the students of the Faculty of Management and Engineering Business.

The Institute has created all conditions for the graduates of the Faculty not only to know the theory, but also to be skilled in economics, management and marketing, fluent in foreign languages and information technology. This allows them to accumulate during their studies at the Institute of potential future professional activities.

Faculty of Management and Engineering Business was established in August 2003. Its creation was dictated by the life itself: on the one hand, the increasing desire of applicants to get an education corresponding to the state of modern economics, on the other - a dynamic change in the market has formed staffing needs of new professions and specializations.

Since 2006, the Department has been issuing the bachelors. Since 2007-2008 the Faculty has been launching the Master’s Program. Under the guidance of leading faculty members graduate applicants successfully defend a dissertation for the degree of PhD (Economics).

All specialties, opened at the faculty, are in great demand among the applicants and demand in the regional labor market. Contingent of students in four years of its operation has increased more than 8.6 times. The Department noted a large influx of applicants.

Many students from the third course begin to work for selected occupations. Demand for graduates increases due to faster growth in the service sector and consumer market in comparison with other industries, due to the high level of efficiency and return on investment in these areas.

Training of specialists is carried out in accordance with the state educational standards, educational and work plans for each specialty, which include not only the classroom and students' work, but also all practices: teaching and study, production and pre-graduation, as well as final examinations in the form of the present state of interdisciplinary examination and protection of graduation thesis.

In order to ensure high quality training, the institution has contracts with enterprises of Kazan, which are the bases for practical training of students. The Institute has contracts with the following enterprises: shopping and entertainment center "Korston", Hotel "Volga", Hotel "Basilica ", Hotel "Tatarstan”, “Tatintour”, MosInvest "(for practical training in the specialty" Management of the Organization "); “Melita” marketing, "Elecon” (for an internship in Marketing).

In the educational process, many lecturers use multimedia programs.

The Faculty initiated students’ internship abroad. Currently, five students have their practice in China and 53 students in Turkey. Work on strengthening the ties with the organization of practice for students with advanced enterprises of Kazan, Tatarstan, and with foreign companies has a systematic character.

In June 2005, in Kazan and Almetyevsk the first graduates got a degree in Organizational Management (specialization Hospitality Industry), in February 2006 - a degree in Marketing.
